1921 Khadur Sahib Gurudwaras were brought under the control of the SGPC.
1983ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ   Bhai Harbhjan Singh and Bhai Harprit Singh were killed in a staged police encounter.
1984 Attacks on Sikhs by Haryanee Hindoos, with police cooperation, continued in which more than 20 Sikhs were killed, property worth millions was looted, burnt. This went on for several days.
1986 Hindoos attacked Sikhs and their property at Batala.
1987ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ   Bhai Gurcharan Singh alias Bhai Durga Singh Arifke (Tat Khalsa) was tortured and killed by the Punjab police at Kotwali police station.
